In 1851 Jane Maria was working as a Governess at 39 ? in Sowe, she was aged 30.
The head of the household was Elizabeth CAMPION aged 20 she was living with her sisters Mary, Rosella and Maria aged 15, 13 and 9 and her niece Mary Ann Campion HAMMERTON aged 11. The sisters were all described as 'scholars at home' and Mary Ann as a scholar. There was also a visitor Maria Cotterns (Catterns ?) aged 19 and two female servants Mary Bradford aged 33 and Elizabeth Webb aged 16. The Campions were born in Wyken, Coventry. Jane Maria was born in Twickenham.
David's and Jane Maria's marriage was witnessed by Edward Toone and Elizabeth Campion. Edward described himself as "Gentleman".
