Witnesses to George and Sarah's marriage were :-Thomas Moy, Mary Moy and Elizabeth Hammerton. Abstract of Will of George HAMMERTON the Elder of Wolston,Warwicks., Gent. Died 15 Sept 1880 at Wolston. Will proved at Birmingham, 5 nov 1880 by oaths of George HAMMERTON of Princethorpe, Warwicks., Farmer, and Arthur HAMMERTON of Wolston, Gent. the sons, the Execs. named in the will. Personal Estate under π1500. No Leaseholds. Extracted by one codicil with will. I appoint my two sons George HAMMERTON, the younger and Arthur HAMMERTON to be trustees and Executors.To my dear wife Elizabeth: all wines, consumable stores, provisions in or about my house at my decease. Use and enjoyment of my household goods, furniture, plate, linen, china etc. as she shall select and which shall be necessary in the judgement of my Executors. She is already provided for by marriage settlement. My farming stock etc., monies, all residue of my personal estate to my Executors on Trust. Proceeds to pay my debts. The residue to be divided between the Executors and my other children: Sarah HAMMERTON, Mary wife of Henry CRYER, Edward HAMMERTON, Elizabeth HAMMERTON, Thomas Moy HAMMERTON, Caroline HAMMERTON, Ann wife of The Rev. Elias CHAMPION, and Maria HAMMERTON in equal shares.My several messuages etc. in Junction Street, Coventry and all other real estate at the time of my death to my daughter Sarah HAMMERTON for her life. After her death to my son George. If I become entitled to π700 from my marriage settlement then iti s to be shared between my children: Mary CRYER, Elizabeth HAMMERTON, Thomas Moy HAMMERTON, Caroline HAMMERTON, Ann CHAMPION, Arthur HAMMERTON and Maria HAMMERTON in equal shares.All real estates vested in me as Trustee to my sons George and Arthur to administer.
